Michael’s first venture into Formula SAE-A, and he was impressed with the passion shown by the students. From Alfaisal University making their first appearance, overcoming a late car delivery due to customs, fuel issues and also noise issues; to the Queensland University of Technology team who’s autonomous vehicle crashed during the emergency brake test; the passion displayed was immense.
Michael spent most of the weekend running the weight, tilt and rain tests. Most volunteers for technical inspection viewed this as a less desirable role, but Michael enjoyed being able to learn the systems and take ownership of the role.
