Round two of the Trophy Tour saw Michael attending on only one of the three days, the Sunday. Michael spent the day at Flag Post 1, about 150m before Turn 1 at Calder Park.
The morning was brought to a halt when a couples of Formula Vees collided and one rolled. Thankfully both drivers self-extracted and were quickly released from the medical centre after some checks. The day resumed without the loss of any sessions, but during the last race for the Improved Production category a couple of Excels interlocked wheels and hit the barriers at the exit of turn 3. Although one of the drivers required medical attention on the scene both drivers were released from the medical centre after some checks. The recovery crew rapidly cleaned up the incident and racing was able to resume with the next session closing out the day.
