Unsure about entering Geelong Revival, Michelle and Michael went along as spectators on a media pass thanks to Michael’s involvement with Historic Motorsport Promoters. With weather varying between warm and sunny and bucketing down with rain, it was a perfect day to not be racing.
As well as chatting to a number of competitors from other events, Michelle proved that offering a lady in a vintage inspired outfit the chance to sit in a Formula Ford will sometimes get accepted. Initially Chris Davison couldn’t work out who was interested in the car, Michelle or Michael, so when he saw Michelle sicking her head in the cockpit he asked if she’d like to sit in it. Little did he know that despite the long dress, Michelle would eagerly accept. Once she was in the car, Michael let on that she normally raced an Austin 7.
