A last minute call-up by the Ford Four Car Club meant that Michael was one of the few flag marshals able to attend the FFCC Supersprint.
Michael spent the Saturday at Flag Post 5.8 where he operated a chequered flag relay; and Sunday at Flag Post 1. Due to the low numbers of officials, Michael was one of the most experienced flag marshals and effectively operated as Chief Flag for the weekend.
