As someone who has always loved classic cars and as an owner of a vintage car, Michael took the opportunity to attend all 3 days of the Winton Festival of Speed with the Victorian Flagmarshalling Team.
Despite only being on his second official day of flag marshalling Michael was deployed solo at Flag Post 6 due to the low number of marshals that usually attend on a Friday. The remainder of the weekend was spent at Flag Post 9 learning about Black Flag Relay.
