DESCRIPTION:Michael's first day as a motorsport offical apart from a brief 
 experience in his early teens in the timing tower at Mallala.\n\nAlthough 
 the Victorian State Racing Series is made up of 3 day events\, Michael dec
 ided to only volunteer for one day to see what he thought of the activity.
 \n\nMichael's first day trackside was spent at Flag Point 11 and within a 
 few minutes of picking up a flag he was waving a yellow flag for a car tha
 t had spun in the centre of the track.  Although the day was spent with V
 ictorian Flagmarshalling Team members\, Michael did not start his training
  at this event.
