DESCRIPTION:With plans to attend the Adelaide 500 later in the year\, Micha
 el signed-up for Fire/Rescue at the Sandown 500.\n\nThe 3 days of the even
 t were spent in pit lane with the Friday spent around the middle of the la
 ne\, and the Saturday and Sunday near pit exit.  The split start/finish l
 ine used at Sandown meant that the pit lane fire crew had to walk to the s
 tart line for each race and then return to the pit lane for the balance of
  the race.\n\nOn the Sunday\, during the Supercars race a vehicle from the
  garages Michael was monitoring was involved in an incident on track and t
 his resulted in Michael being tasked to monitor the car from the garage en
 try\; whilst performing this task the team's other car stopped for a pit s
 top and Michael got to experience just how loud the Supercars pit stops ar
 e.
