The Adelaide 500 promised to be special as it’s still trying to maintain the hype Formula 1 brought to Adelaide in the 80s and 90s. The Thursday and Friday were spent near turn 9, with the Thursday being spent at Post 8.7 on the entry to turn 9 and Friday at 9.5 on the exit. The Saturday was spent in pit lane and I was one again stationed outside the Shell V-Power pits. Sunday was spent at Post 14.8 with a clear view of the Start/Finish line and the donuts done at the end of the race.
