DESCRIPTION:As Michael is also a member of the CFA he decided to try out th
 e Fire and Rescue aspect of motorsport officiating.\n\nMichael joined the 
 team from Victorian Fire &amp\; Rescue Squad at the Phillip Island Auto Ra
 cing Club (PIARC) April Access day at Calder Park.  The day was spent in 
 the sole fire vehicle at the crossover (between Thunderdome and the Nation
 al Circuit) and although there weren't any call-outs it was a chance for h
 im to learn about the Fire and Rescue requirements of motorsport.
