Back to the event that started it all.
This year Michael’s role expanded. Pre-processing of driver sign-on licence checks and assisting with driver sign-on on the Friday and then Club Representative on Saturday and Sunday, all whilst providing IT support as required.
As part of the Club Representative role, Michael arranged tasks for two work experience students, both of whom began volunteering at motorsport events after the weekend.
This weekend was intended to be Michelle’s first opportunity to drive Fernando, but after a brake failure when unloading the car this idea was put on hold. Instead Michelle borrowed an Austin 7 to drive on the parade laps.
